The EU Talent Pool — established by Regulation (EU) 2026/1047 — connects jobseekers outside the EU with European employers in shortage occupations. Profiles on such platforms are self-declared. An independently verified TalentPath credential gives employers proof they can check in seconds — and gives your application evidence that self-declared profiles cannot offer.

Find your occupation
Check whether your occupation appears among the EU-wide shortage areas below. These sectors face documented labour shortages across participating member states — they are where European employers are actively recruiting from outside the EU.
Take the assessment
Complete the free DigComp 3.0 digital skills assessment — 105 questions across 7 competence areas, in English, under exam conditions. Score 70% or higher in every area to earn your credential. Digital competence is screened in virtually every EU hiring process, whatever your occupation.
Get your verified credential
Your credential is a W3C Verifiable Credential signed with Ed25519 — tamper-proof and independently checkable. It carries a unique code any employer can verify at talentpath.eu/verify in seconds, free, with no account.
Attach it anywhere
EU Talent Pool registration runs through the Europass profile builder — add your credential code and verification link there, and to visa applications, your CV, and direct applications. It is independent evidence that your skill claims have been tested — something self-declared profiles cannot offer.

The EU Talent Pool focuses on occupations facing shortages across participating member states. The sectors below reflect the EU-wide shortage occupations list referenced by Regulation (EU) 2026/1047 — indicative and subject to adjustment by participating member states. Industry and EU labour agencies corroborate them: professional drivers and mechanics were explicitly welcomed into the adopted list, and welders, nurses, cooks and electricians rank among the most widespread shortages EU-wide.
