What is skill readiness?

Skill readiness measures how exposed your occupation is to automation, AI displacement, and the EU green transition — and how well positioned you are for the labour market of 2030.

Scores are derived from peer-reviewed research: Frey & Osborne (2013), Arntz et al. (2016) OECD, Eloundou et al. (2023) "GPTs are GPTs", the WEF Future of Jobs 2023 report, and the CEDEFOP Skills Forecast 2030 — not AI-generated estimates.

AI exposure type matters as much as the percentage: augmentation (AI accelerates your work) produces very different career outcomes than automation (AI replaces the task entirely).

Scores are pre-computed from the research baseline and weighted across four dimensions: automation risk, AI exposure type, WEF job trend, and EU green transition relevance.

A score of 70–100 means your occupation is well-positioned for the next decade. 45–69 signals meaningful disruption ahead — upskilling is advisable. Below 45 indicates high exposure — proactive transition planning is recommended.
