Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using TalentPath (talentpath.eu), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using TalentPath on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. The service

TalentPath provides: • A free digital skills assessment based on DigComp 3.0 (EU JRC) for individual workers. • Verifiable digital skills certificates issued as W3C Verifiable Credentials. • A B2B compliance dashboard for organisations managing Article 4 EU AI Act documentation. • Supporting tools for skill portability, readiness, and market intelligence. The assessment is not a substitute for professional certification or legal advice.

3. Worker accounts (individual users)

The assessment is free. No account is required to start. You provide your name and email to receive your certificate. You may retake the assessment after a 24-hour cooldown period. Certificates are valid for 2 years from the date of issue. You must not use false information when registering for the assessment. Certificates issued on the basis of false information may be revoked.

4. B2B accounts (organisations)

B2B organisations subscribe to TalentPath under a Trial or paid Team plan. Trial plans are limited to 5 users for 30 days. Paid plans are billed monthly per user via Stripe. You are responsible for: • Ensuring you have lawful grounds to share staff email addresses with TalentPath. • Informing staff that their assessment results will be visible to your organisation's compliance dashboard. • Ensuring your use of the evidence package complies with applicable law.

5. Certificate verification

Anyone may verify a TalentPath certificate at talentpath.eu/verify/[code]. Certificate verification exposes the holder's name, overall score, domain breakdown, and issue date. Holders consent to this public verification by completing the assessment.

6. Intellectual property

The DigComp 3.0 framework is developed by the European Commission Joint Research Centre and is used here for assessment purposes under open-access terms. ESCO is © European Union. TalentPath platform code, design, and question content are proprietary.

7. Limitation of liability

TalentPath is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that assessment results will satisfy any particular legal or regulatory requirement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. The evidence package generated for B2B clients documents assessment completion only. It does not constitute a legal compliance certification. Seek independent legal advice for EU AI Act compliance decisions.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the assessment system, or provide false information. B2B accounts can be cancelled at any time; prepaid periods are not refunded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which TalentPath operates. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to B2B account holders by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
